Dr Janie Kim spent her earlier years in New Zealand, where she attended University of Otago, graduating with Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Credit. Her main goal in private practice is to improve patients’ oral hygiene and appearance through communication and motivation, which has been demonstrated by high patient satisfaction. She frequently attends continuing education programmes in various fields and has a particular interest in conservative and cosmetic dentistry. Utilising the latest techniques and with the best materials available, Dr. Kim continues to provide the highest standards of dental care for all patients. In addition to providing excellence in these fields she has also had previous experience as a dental and maxillofacial house surgeon in Christchurch Hospital, giving her the ability to carry out pain-free extractions where the need arises. She is certified to perform Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation, Venepuncture and Resuscitation in the unlikely event of a medical emergency situation. She has excellent communication skills and this has been proven by being awarded the LP Davies Prize in Community Dental Health 2008 in New Zealand.
